June 2025: James' debut play The Flat Earthers was a 5-star sell-out at the Brighton Fringe and was nominated for the Farnham Maltings Best Emerging Artist Award.


Ongoing: James has received a Develop Your Creative Practice grant from Arts Council England to explore artistic leadership and how to create new theatre buildings. He is travelling the country and visiting leading small-to-mid scale theatres.

Ongoing: James has been awarded Arts Council Funding to develop a theatre production about gambling harm with three leading gambling awareness charities. He is working in collaboration with theatremaker, Jamie Eastlake.
